DatePicked is a free quiz that points adults (18+) to partner dating sites. This page explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

Quiz answers (who you are, who you'd like to meet, your age group, what you're hoping for). They are used only to pick your result and are not linked to your name.
Technical data when you visit from an ad: a random click ID, the ad source and placement IDs, your country, device type and browser, and a hashed (not readable) form of your IP address. We keep this for up to 60 days to count visits and to stop fraud.
Messages you type to the match guide. They are answered by an automated system and are not stored with your identity.

What we don't collect

No name, email address, phone number or photos. We don't sell or rent your answers or any data about you.

Cookies

One first-party cookie (dp) holds your click ID for 24 hours so your result can be counted. No advertising or tracking cookies are set by us.

Who receives data

Our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare), the partner dating site you choose to join (which has its own privacy policy), and the affiliate network that records the sign-up. We may earn a commission when you join through our link.

Your rights

If you are in the UK, EU or California you can ask what we hold, ask for deletion, or object to processing by emailing the address below. Because we hold no identifiers beyond a hashed IP and a random click ID, we may not be able to find records that relate to you.

Children

DatePicked is for adults aged 18 and over only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
